Guy Harington is Chairman Corporate Finance and Investment Banking for the Emerging Markets. In 1990 he started Schroders' investment banking business in Central and Eastern Europe which he built to become the market leader. Following the merger of Schroders' investment banking business with Salomon Smith Barney in 2000 he headed the Emerging Markets investment banking activity of Schroder Salomon Smith Barney/Citigroup. He has advised Governments on many of the flagship privatisations in the region and international clients on the development and execution of their acquisition strategies. He has wide ranging experience of bringing sovereign borrowers and companies to the capital markets (debt and equity).
